The start of the day
We work to a 30 minute arrival window, agreed and communicated in advance, usually from 8am unless arranged otherwise.
Your team arrives in uniform and ready to start, with a shift supervisor who is responsible for coordination and communication on site. The shift supervisor is your point of contact throughout the day.
The walkthrough
Before anything is moved, we walk the property with you. We ask what is fragile or valuable, what is not moving, and anything awkward about the access, such as a sticking door or a tight stairwell. It takes a few minutes and avoids most of the problems that could come up later.
Tip: Tell us during the walkthrough about anything fragile, valuable or awkward, such as a sticking door or a tight stairwell.
Protecting the property
Floors, walls, door frames and furniture are wrapped, padded and protected using professional materials and proven methods. Floor protection goes down where we will be walking, and doorways and stairwells are protected before large items pass through them.
Loading and unloading
At the new property, the team walks through with you and places things where you want them. Boxes are labelled with their room, so they land in the right place first time.
The final check
Before we leave, we check that nothing has been missed, and the supervisor goes over anything outstanding with you.
If you would like to see how this would work for your move, we are happy to talk it through. Our Moving Day guide covers what to do on your side.
